Hi

Firstly, apologies for not asking this in the Visio Enterprise forum but we're using Visio 2002 Standard so I wasn't sure where best to post.

I have a user on Windows XP Pro using Visio 2002 Standard SR-1 and whenever he prints to our Xerox Document Centre 332ST, the graphics print OK but the surrounding/associated text is gobbledegook. We have tried diffreent paper sizes/orientations but nothing changes.

I have tried printing on our only other printer, a HP Laserjet 4050N and it works OK. This would tend to suggest a driver issue.

I spoke to Xerox and they advised me to use the W2K drivers and install the printer locally on a TCP/IP port. No avail here either. We tried printing a text only doc from MS Word 2000 and this is fine.

I suspect a driver issue, has anyone else seen this before and if so is there a fix?

Thanks in advance Regards

have u tried going to printer properties and under general tab select Printing preferences and then under Fonts tab select "Always send to printer"?

Hi Onedtent. I tried this and it now prints OK. Thanks for your advice.

Still can't understand why this was required, I have several users printing to this device with various Microsoft and non-Microsoft packages and there has never been an issue until now.

Anyway, not to worry, it's fixed now and that's the main thing. Regards
