PS4 with RO3, Win2k3 with latest MS patches.

We're seeing a weird issue that started about 2 weeks ago in which printer policies don't seem to be applying correctly. It doesn't seem to be specific to any server.

A user may not have any session printers at all or they may get the wrong ones. It seems to be totally random.

Anybody else seen this?

We used to have a lot of problems with this before only using windows native drivers for everything... It's been pretty good about it ever since.

twoody54,

We use either Windows or manufacturer's digitally signed drivers only. This hasn't changed for some time which is not to say we haven't had any driver issues but I don't think this is the cause of our problem.

I think this may actually have to do with corruption in the database that stores the policies. I suspect we may have to remove the print servers, re-add them then re-enter the printers in all the policies which is a very difficult since we have almost 450 policies. I'm just hoping somebody has seen this before and has a simpler solution.

Thanks for the input.
