My Boss had a problem the other day regards dialling up
to an ISP with his Win 2000 Sony laptop.
We encountered a similar problem months ago on another laptop with Win 2000. At that time we uninstalled TCP/IP
and then reinstalled it. Hey presto! the dial up worked.
Therefore we repeated the performance on the Sony, and yet again it did the trick.
However now when the boss goes to look for his printers they aren't there unless he removes his network cable.
We have swapped all the cables and reinstalled ip again with no success. I have also upgraded the laptop with service pack 2. Still no joy.
Strange but true. Can anyone give me any suggestions?
Thanks in advance
