Showing the printer status as ready either rebooted or relogin to a Dell Inspiron XP Pro laptop, but the printer status will be changed to PRINTER NOT READY after about 30 to 40 minutes idle time. The system standby and turn off hard disk are set as NEVER in power management. Does anybody have seen this kind of problem and kown how to fix?

So, ur saying that the status of the printer goes to idle or not ready after about 40 minutes? If this is the case it is a setting on the printer or in the printer driver about timeouts. Probably in properties of the printer driver, not sure exactly as its driver specific.
