printer not printing

hi, i my printer(hp 3420 deskjet) is not working.

i gave the clicked ok on the print set up with fast draft/normal ......then printing status is coming.

and continued status processing...but no printing.

status is shown for long time but no printing at all.

AND no message also coming from the computer.

what could be the problem?

how can i fix it?
