Hi All-

I installed a printer on a Windows 2000 machine and am trying to share it with Windows 98 computers. It's also shared with some other Windows 2000 computers and works fine. When I try to connect from a 98 machine, the printer doesn't show up. It's a GCC Elite printer. We have done this before and it worked. All computers have been restarted. Any ideas?

In Win2000 unit make sure that the user of win98 is permitted to access. If you want to see, if this is the case, you can log in win98 unit with the same user name as in win2000 and try. Note, by default 'ramani' will be 'ramani1' in win2000. So read the name carefully.
Best of luck.

LET KNOW IF THIS HELPED. ENOUGH EXPERTS ARE HERE TO HELP YOU OUT! BEST OF LUCK :)

Thanks, I ended up typing in the network path from the 98 computers instead of using the "browse" function - it still doesn't show up on their network neighborhood but it prints fine!
