I've been looking too. The only thing I've realy seen out there is PrintManager. Go to Softwareshelf.com.

We've got mostly HP's and Lexmarks. HP has a program called Web Jetadmin. I have tried this and it is excellent. It picked up all the HP printers on our network and as a bonus allowed me to configure them from my workstation. I am not aware of any other software however. Sorry. The HP Webjetadmin can be downloaded for free from this URL

i use a program called pconsole

have been using it for several years now and it works great that is what i believe to be correct.
