primary colors seem ok and grayscale but when I try and print say a pale coffee color it comes out a horrendus green color. my printing ink is fine .what I see on my screen and what I get is way different.
tried doing tests with powerpoint and some other progs and they print pretty close to what i see on screen.
have tried the corel help which is pretty useless well it is in ver 8 anyway .Im getting nowhere fast
hope you can help regards maggie

Sounds a bit like colour management issue, this was greatly improved in V9 I think and in V10 onwards is very good. Maybe time to upgrade, V12 has many improvements over V8

Corel has advanced setting for brand-name recognition of both printers and monitors, in addition to gamma settings separate from other programs. I don't remember where these are located, but check under Corel's help section. If Corel is currently using a generic monitor or printer for its default colour profiles, it may explain a bit. Its gamma setting may be off as well. There is also a final output setting for the printer that may be on CMYK or RGB when it should be a different one. This only affects one in a hundred colours, but that pale coffee colour might be one.
