I am suddenly having trouble printing PDFs. The error I get is "This job requires more memory than is available in the printer." I have increased Available PostScript Memory to 20000, and set "Optimize for Portability". These are small documents, 2 or 3 pages with nothing fancy. I am running Windows 7 Professional, and my printer is an HP 2840 LaserJet.

Have you tried a cold start on the printer - maybe its memory is fragmented, and it will recognize enough free with a fresh start... or, try printing without using PostScript, and/or set PostScript memory to zero, to free it up for non-PostScript printing....
