My computer has a problem with printers. I've tried 2 different printers on it now, and I get this annoying problem where printing jobs get stuck on the queue. Someone told me that this could be a problem with my "spooler" whatever that means. I am running Windows XP. Is there some way to fix this "spooler" thing? I looked it up somewhere, it says that the spooler is some kind of memory buffer.

You say you've tried two different printers on this XP machine. Did you try to print a test page after installing the drivers? How about checking the printer manufacturer's website for updated drivers?

What make and model of printers? Did you specifically check that the correct paper size is selected? We often find in the U.K. that Letter sized paper is the installed default, but we invariably have to change this to A4 paper size.
