Printer in Scoadmin

I installed a Local brother printer through a print server on a sco 5.05 box. Everything worked and the printer printed, which is what you would expect.

As always there is a but! About every three days the printer will not accept print jobs! This is simply the "Printer Control" > "Accept New Local Jobs" in scoadmin unchecking itself.

All I do is pop into scoadmin and check it back which is becoming a bit too routine!!!

Any suggestions???

As you may know on sco 5.0.5 there are many printer problems (bugs)

All i can say is please install all the Patches for that version , those are :

rs505a
oss497c * this one deals with printer problems and many things more.
oss600a
