Good Morning,

I recently deleted a bunch of printer groups because I thought they were unused. We only use 3 when selecting a printer group for an item, There are only 3 printers where orders print: Back bar, Front bar, and kitchen. After making the deletes, we came across an unusual problem. When something was ordered from the back bar (regardless of which printer the item is assigned to) it printed in the front. The opposite is also true, all items ordered from the back bar are printing in the front bar. I want only the items assigned to the back bar group to print in the back bar, and only when they're not ordered from the back bar terminal (and vice versa). I know this is confusing... I also noticed there is an event scheduled (reroute print by terminal) where front bar group is rerouted to Invalid printer group. THe back bar group also has an event ehere it is rerouted to the invalid printer. Can someone please help me get back on track?

Might as well delete the invalid reroute print by terminal events now that they are invalid. Also look at the Menu's and Order Mode's, as these also have the "Route by Printer Group" option in them. Usually this type of setup involves fake printers and printer groups and removing these most likely caused the initial issue.

here is an other option
Close Aloha Manager
Copy the prg.dbf from a dated folder to the newdata folder
Reopen aloha manager.
You now have all the printer groups back and you can then do a better job of selecting which ones to remove

Thank you sooo much! I went with the AlohaRoss solution. I now have all of my printer groups back. Is there any way to revert to my old settings? I changed some of the Terminal settings and possibly chit-printing settings. Thanks again for your help.

The term.dbf will have the old term settings, Chit settings are apart of the aloha.ini file. Do not copy the Aloha.ini file unless you are ready to edit it to change the DOB as well. If you get lost reach out to me from my website.
