Printer: Failed to open com port 1, status -14

This is in reference to the previous post that BIGGBYNinja assisted with after following your steps listed below, I started getting an error message of "Printer :Failed to open com port 1,status -14". This error is keeping me from verify if the initial fix for the MSR worked. Can anyone assist? Thanks in advance.
PS. I've attached a screen shot as well. Hopefully it can help.

1. Upload the following files to the terminal.

2. Uninstall the old P15xx driver package from Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel. If you get a Windows Installer pop-up message during the uninstall asking for required files (like driver version 2.2.0.0 or similar), hit cancel.

3. Install the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility. After installing, extract the two required msvbm DLL files to the C:\Program Files\Windows Installer Cleaner Utility directory.

4. Run the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility. Highlight the P15xx driver package and click Remove. You may have to repeat the process of highlighting and clicking remove several times. Keep doing so until the P15xx driver package is no longer listed in the installer programs list.

5. Install the newer P15xx driver package. While installing, ignore any New Hardware Wizard prompts - the installer takes care of these. After the driver install is completed, you will have to reboot. This driver version disables the keyboard wedge service and forces you to use the RSMsr OPOS device.

6. After rebooting, if you want to test the RSMsr OPOS controller you can do so in Control Panel > Radiant Hardware Settings > OPOS > MSR and selecting the R

Check in Aloha if you have 2 printers assigned to the same com port.

I've changed the ports. I have 3 printers and have place them as printer1(com3), p2(com1) and p3(com2) with p1(com3) and now I'm getting the same error on com3. Any suggestions?

Do you have a cash drawer assigned to P1? Sometimes deleting the printer and rebuilding with different ID fixes it. so if P1 is now 10 in the drop down list call it 101 and use the same settings, but delete 10 when done
