I have a situation where on different desktops and laptops, the commas in numeric fields appear, or don't appear. I have read the Crystal paper called "Printer Driver Dependency: How to design reports that print consistently in different PC environments." While this specific formatting problem is not mentioned, it seems almost like this has to be the problem.
First question; has anybody experienced this and is there a solution? Second question; when the report is displayed on the screen (before printing) the same issue exists where fields display commas or not, based on the PC. If it is in the display before printing, could it still be the printer drivers or is there something else I can check?
This is quite maddening - any suggestions appreciated.
