Hi, where can I get a printer driver for kyocera printers
(in this case FS-9000)? Homepage only gives Windows and Mac files...

IBM does not provide one..for your printer.......so you either select one that is close or that your printer emulates...or you put a third party software printing package on your system that has a driver..........

(First ones give better quality
try to use
(a) any Lasejet 5 or older will print (worst - to default tray)
(b) get PPD file from Kyocera - it may be contained with their Win or MAC drivers and attach it to your generic postscript driver) - or to default tray without PPD
(c) rest are pin impact or even worse (and not of great speed - as they print BIG SQARES instead of pin impacts)

From PDF with FS9000 Tech specs:

Standard Emulation:

HP LaserJet 5M (PCL 6),
KPDL2 (PostScript Level 2),
IBM Proprinter X24E,
Epson LQ-850,
Diablo 630,
Line printer

Gheist,

How does one go about using the Kyocera PPD in IBM AIX? I have the PPD but I don't know how to assign it for the Kyocera printer.
