printer driver in RH7.3

Using the printconf-gui tool to set up printers at one point during the "select a printer driver" I have these three options,
Postscript Printer
Text only printer
Raw Print Queue
My lack of knowledge makes me ask this question. Whats the difference and what should chose for what purpose.

Secondly after installing a printer, when I am say, browsing through a website and try to print from the page, the print option doesnt show the printers installed for me to select a printer to print to.

can anyone provide info on printing from the command line, directing to a particular printer, options and more options, , ,

what should the print command be. Usually printers are listd and I chose one to print to . Let say the printer name is 'testprinter'.
