Printer draft mode 1

Question:
When you go to print something from just about any program, you can also click "Preferences" and change the Quality Settings to "Draft."

Is there anyway to set Windows to use "draft" printing by default instead of the more ink-wasting "normal" mode?

Depending on what type of printer you are using. If you go to the printer driver in windows and go to it's properties. Click around. I was able to change the toner level of my HP 1100 laserjet from a Regular toner setting to a dark, light, medium, etc...


When checking around, look for the paper quality settings, there usually is an advanced button on the bottom of the window right about the "ok" "cancel" "apply" buttons.
