Anyone has any idea how to troubleshoot the printing issues?
Win2003 server/sp1, it is a standalone server
There are 20 printers installed
I have the latest drivers installed
When I print the test page, it says spooling then printing, then it errors out after a minute later? I have various model of printers installed, HP 4000, Hp4250, etc. what went wrong?

Solutions I tried:
Remove the print drivers completely and install it again, it still doesn't work. Restart the spooler services. No luck.

Thank You

Do any of the printers work?
Are the printers on the same subnet?
Can you use the web interface on the printers via the server?
What type of port(s) did you create?
Try the steps below:
[tt]
Add Printer
Local Printer attached to this machine, turn off auto detect
Create a new port, standard TCP/IP Port
Printer Name = <IP Address of printer>
Port Name = <what you want to call the printer>
Device type = Generic Network card if prompted (Also might indicate communication problem)
Select printer and drivers
Name the printer
Share the printer (Use the same name)
Enter a location (very handy for larger sites)
Print test page
[/tt]
Remember, printers are always local to their server even if they are network connected.

I figure it out, it was the naming convension,

Printer Name = <IP Address of printer>
Port Name = <what you want to call the printer>

Thank You
