Hi,

I am trying to customize the toolbars in access reports. I have done a toolbar named User which contains 2 buttons: page setup and print... (opens the print dialogue). (The latter button must be dragged from file-menu, otherwise it is only print to default printer without dialoque, which is weird....).

Both buttons are present when I am in form view but when I open a report in print-prewiew mode the "print as" button is gone. I use exactly the same self made "User" toolbar in both views. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to solve the problem?

regards,

Try using a macro. Create a new macro, name it Print, and enter in the first line RunCommand, and below in the Commmand ComboBox, select Print. When you Customize your "User" Toolbar, under the Commands tab in the catergories list box, select AllMacros. Find the Print macro, and drag it to your User toolbar.

There is also a PageSetup and numerous other functions that can be run under RunCommand.
