Printer Defaults Reset In XP Not 2K

When running a report from a command line using Access 2000 the report prints using the printers default duplex setting of long edge. However when I use the same command line except specify it to use Access 2002 the report prints without duplexing. The command lines are using the same database. The only thing I can think of is a problem with Access XP opening a 2000 database. Any ideas?
