WINDOWS 2000 sp2

Everytime i Go START-->SETTINGS--->Printers my machine locks up. I know i have a networked HP4000 and a Lexmark E312 on LTP1.
Machine is 1gig P3 compaq with 256 meg of ram. This machine is a new build also.

I used to run in to this problem with Win95. I haven't seen it with 2000 yet. In the case of Win95 it was due to a printer installed with an incorrect driver. To get around the problem I had to manually delete all printers by deleting all references from the registry and system.ini. Then I was able to open the printers control panel applet to reinstall the printers. Kevin Mattson
