Printer Control Codes

I am trying to embed Printer Control Codes in a document. I am using VFP 6.0 in a WIN 2000 environment.

I cannot create the ESC/chr(27) prefix for the printer commands.

When we input ESC/chr(27) prefix the system returns an invalid character value.

Does anyone know how to overcome this obstacle?
