Printer colours are printing all wrong

I have a problem with a win98 client, which does not print the correct colours (it seems as though it is only print blues and yellows!).

I eliminating the printer by testing on another client and elminated photo editing software by using different app and the same result occurs.

Would this be an operating system problem or a hardware problem?

What would be the best option apart from reinstalling windows?

Sounds like your red has run out. Maybe try a new colour cartridge.

I have tried same client on a different printer and it does the name with the funky colours, what could it be EMF format?
