Printed page accounting

Hi All:

Do you know if there is a software that can enable printer to account how many page it printed ?

we have a mixed of HP laser jet printer, some of the bigger printers are networked and with configuration panel that can print out page printed, but some smaller HP laser jet like the 5P 6P 1300s can't (or can it ?)

I would if there is some way we can take a account of page printed for toner inventory analysis and printer maintenance purpose

You might want to check the fw on the HP website for the printer and jetdirect card.Sometimes the updated fw will offer these options.
If you can telnet to the printer you might check if the option is available.

You can check toner capacity using HP web jetadmin utility.

but what happen if some of the HP printer is not networked and we have several of them are not HP ?
