Bit of an obscure Question. I recently upgraded to Vista and installed the new printer driver for my Officejet 6210.
I've found that some documents that used to print OK (on 3x5 index cards) are now cut off at the bottom.
When checking in to this if I get the printer details from the Print Setup/Printer Details tab from my application (Publisher) it says the Printable Area has a top margin of .068" and a height of 4.453" giving a bottom margin of .479" - but the printer specification says that it should be 0.3" - and it used to print fine before the driver "upgrade".
The Printable Area seems to change deopending on the paper size selected - and the margins can go lower - down to zero for borderless photos for example. But there doesn't seem to be any way to manually change the printable area from the Printer Properties. The Borderless button has no effect, and the Minimize Margins button on Effects doesn't seem to work.
Any ideas? HP support were worse than useless - didn't seem to even know what a printable region was - wasted 45mins of my time.
