I'm trying to find out if there is any way to download the programming information on an MICS to a printable file. I've asked several techs I know, all with the same answer-NO [thumbsdown], except one who said there is older software (Offline Programmer?) that will allow you to download the programming to a spreadsheet and print. He said it takes around 4 hours to download on a 0X32. Do you know of any way to do this using Norstar Manager 9.0?

Thanks,

I am going off of memory but here goes.
Go to excel, go to open, go to your c: drive, look for a file named icsrt, open that file, look for your system version, open the folder 5.0,open with macros enabled, perform a save as and rename the file,(necessary step), Now on excel there will be a new tab on the toolbar at the end, open that and perform an acuire phone system, you will hook up to the rad through this program as it will open up remote tools, once the acquire is done it will populate the excel file. do what you want from there.

If I missed any steps please forgive. I think that the new NRU 10.0 version is a little different but I havent had a chance to look at it yet.

I'm in there! Thanks! I do keep getting an error I'm going to have to check out (ICS A0C 03eng.map)

Again, Thank you! I would never have gotten this far without your help!

I got it. The error I was receiving was because once you choose the system version, and save, before you choose "acquire system", you have to select what version for the workbook (why twice, i don't know). I did that and it worked. Thanks again!

You got ALL the programming? I have tried several times and it fails due to excessive errors (>235 i think..)

Suggestions?

I know that trying to acquire the entire system is best done on site. Try to acquire just a small section first. Also look to see that you selected the proper settings on the first page of excel file, I think they are the blue tabs in the middle of the woorkbook.
