When I am adding the printer on our network to new PC's the "Add Printer Wizard" doesn't complete until I go into task manager and end the HPNRA.exe process. I know this process tells the machine that a new printer has been added/deleted but it doesn't seem to go away until I kill this process. I will usually let the wizard sit 5 minutes or so to make sure the machine got the printer added. then once I terminate the HPNRA.exe process the printer appears in my printers and faxes window and functions properly. Just so the information is there: Machines are all Win XP Pro, Print Servers used are mainly HP JetDirects. I do have two Dell printers. But the problem doesn't seem to be vendor specific. Any help on this annoyance would be great! Thanks in advance.
