I have problem with printing of EPS with pagemaker 6 (win)

with hp laser jet 4m plus

I change win2000 driver with the last available on hp site...

but results is the same:

image EPS results "rasterized" with an low resolution.

Note: With nt4 I never had problem.

(I had tried with all other printer available on list in win2000
installation like:

hp laserjet 4m plus ps 600 (and 300)

hp laserjet 4m/mp

hp laserjet 4m

hp laserjet 4m PS

....

and the other...

Thank a lot for help.

Hello,
If the only change has been since starting to use Win 2000 then it has to be something in the ps language being sent by the driver.
Couple of suggestions
Make sure the link for the eps is updated and not broken.
Make sure the eps is on the same harddrive as the doc and not on a network or disk drive.
Make sure you are using the same PPD with the ps printer.
Try exporting to a pdf and see how it looks in the pdf and how the pdf prints. If the pdf looks rastered then it is with the ps and the eps, if the pdf looks great and prints fine then it has to do with the driver. Let me know if you still have a problem.
Good luck.

apix,

I don't think that HP is really a PS printer, but a clone. It emulates PS. You should ONLY use the Microsoft PS printer driver that came with your version of Windows. Also, be sure the HP PPD for that printer is in your \PM65 ... \PPD4 folder.
