Print Window in Illustrator

Anyone come across while using Illustrator 11.0.0 that their print window takes for ever to open... For us it can sometimes take up to a couple of minutes to open and it's getting frustrating waiting for it to open...

Any suggestions would be helpful to help us solve the problem???

We are using Windows XP and are on a network, need anymore information, just ask, I'll let you know...

A shot in the dark but...
If the default printer is on the network it may be bandwith issue.
