I'm trying to create a fax cover sheet that has the telephone number that I'm dialing at the bottom of the page printed upside down. That way when the document that is being faxed is in the machine upside down, I can flip up the bottom edge of the document and see the tel # printed right side up. Any suggestions...?

Yeah install a FAXmodem in your PC and forget about it.
Thats what the rest of the world is doing....

Or get an All in one unit, Printer, FAX, Scanner form HP or someone. like the "Office Jet" series.

Otherwize you need a printer that can do duplexing.
Print on one side then flip it over and print on the other.
So your report whould be 2 pages, normal stuff one side, FAX number on the other.

Get with the powers to be and tell them the year 2001 is only 6 weeks away and its past time to automate...

Then connect to Verizon DSL for your Internet. $39.00 a month
