Prolly a good question for KWB, with all his certs :)

What am I doing wrong? I can see my training cert on MOL and have it onscreen, but when I go to print it I get only the text & not the graphics. Have seen this B4, don't recall what we had to do to make them print correctly. Yup, got Java.

Try this:

Internet Explorer Browser Settings:
Enable Background Image Printing
From the Internet Explorer menu, select Tools then Internet Options. In Internet Options, select the
Advanced tab, and scroll down to the Printing section. Check the box labeled ‘Print background
colors and images.’

Nope, didn't fix it.

What I'm getting in the printout, where it should say "Mitel University Certificate of Accomplishment" all I get on the print is a box with a little 'X' in the corner, same for Don Smith's signature, just a box with a small 'x' in the corner. Everything else is there & looks fine.

When I go to my certs, the page opens with Crystal Reports Viewer. I choose the print icon in that window rather than the IE print icon, follow the directions, and it works fine.

Does your cert come up in the Crystal Reports Viewer?

If you did not take enough time to get it right the first time...

What makes you think that you have time to fix it?

Yes, comes up in the CR Viewer & yes, I too chose the print icon within CR Viewer (Ctrl-R) still with same result. Also tried sending it to a pdf file, again same result.

My name, company name, course title and date all appear on the printout fine and in the right location. The graphics are what's not printing.

I am able to SEE everything on the screen. It's just the printed document that's hosed up.

Frustrating...

OK got it to print.... not 100% sure how, tho.

I reduced the screen size, so it wasn't taking up the whole screen. The tried a simple [Ctrl-P] and got a popup w/instructions for printing, ie, open the file, then click on the print icon. Convoluted but it worked. The key seems to be to not have it screen-maximized.

Thanks for trying

I almost never bother printing them, but I don't remember any issues when I did.

What graphics are you speaking of?

The only thing that qualifies on mine is the Mitel Trademark.

When I print it first makes a .PDF doc, no choice in the matter. From there I am printing an acrobat document.

I think there is an option to export or save the cert. Do that first as a pdf and you should be good to go

CKNIPE nailed it!

Thanks. Yup, that's what I did and it worked. (Wasn't immediately obvious as I've not used the training site since the last major revision)

Our Mgmt wants the certs printed to keep in his file.

The "Graphics" referred to include the Mitel Logo and the words "Mitel University Certificate of Accomplishment" and finally Don Smith's signature. Those were appearing as simply blank boxes with a little x in the corners of them. Everything else on the cert was printing fine.

MIMB,

Mentioned above, I have no choice but to print from PDF. How were you trying to do it?
