Print total before discounts on Guest Check

Hey guys
Can Aloha TS (5.3.29) print the customers total on the check before promo discounts (for tipping purposes)? We've been printing 2 copies as a work around. Customers are like WTF. Help plz.

Go to [Maintenance] [Store Settings] [Printing] [Check
Content 1]
Check "Print a subtotal before comps".

I have that option checked already.
I also have the option right next to it checked.
"Print comps/promo above subtotal"
Maybe this one cancels the other? I didn't
refresh yet, I'll check it tomorrow.

HELP Again
The check does and has been printing the subtotal before discounts. The problem is that most customer's eyes go right to the bottom of the check where it says "Balance Due" in bold. The subtotal before discounts just doesn't POP.
Is there a way to change it from "complete subtotal" to something like "Total before Discount" In Bold?
