Hi,
Having a problem with the length of my report. I am printing an order book. At 1st I PRINT IT TO A FILE in order to resort it and create an index. When I am printing it to the report (I use 2 different physical reports), the pages are not exactly the same. The 2 reports are identical, one is copied to the other it is just that one prints as normal and the other does a PRINT TO FILE. I can't get the index I need to print properly because it has to be calculated on PRINT TO FILE step so I can print it prior to my report. I started manipulating the headers, detail, etc. but this is like hitting a moving target and it is not really correct but I cannot for the life of me sync. up these 2 reports.
Any help would be appreciated.
Note: there is a subreport also on the report but I removed them from both reports and still had the same results. The PRINT TO FILE is printing longer than the normal print.
Remember when... everything worked and there was a reason for it?
