Ok,
I've gone completely insane trying to figure this out. Please help.. I have a program that prints several reports overnight. My problem is the reports are large and the printer is unreliable. So I can't print directly to the printer as it may jam or spill papers all over the floor or some such nonsence. So what I have done is changed the printer over from lpt1 to file. The system them prompts for a filename. I thought I had it licked. I built a small program that pops up and appactivates the "print to file" dialog. This runs great as long as I stare at it. If I lock my machine it does not work. Is there any api which would let me take control of the "print to file" dialog box so I dont have to appactivate and sendkeys.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
