In Windows 95, you can fax from any windows program by selecting "Print to Fax". How can I set this up with Windows 98? Currently Windows 98 is installed on my computer. Thanks.
If I am not mistaken, the print to fax option in win95 is related to inbox. This was removed for windows98, & windows Me. Therefore you will need to purchase a seperate Fax program, such as bitware......
Try searching download.com & you will probably find a program you can download at least on a trial basis.... James Goodman

Actually you won't have to buy a new FAX program because I do believe that Windows included their good 'ol Fax software on the Windows 98 CD. You'll have to look in several folders and install 2 programs.
1) Double-click the Tools folder.
2) Double-click OldWin95 folder.
3) Double-click Message folder.
4) Double-click US folder.
5) Double-click wms-fax.txt and there they tell you how
to install the old Fax program that came with Windows 95.
6) You'll have to install WMS.EXE first and then AWFAX.EXE but make sure you read that WMS-FAX.txt file first.
If you wish to fax from win98 check out a folder on th 98 cd and look for a folder called oldwin95 and you will find you can install the fax software for free
