Hi
I have the field Element that have about 75 records in it.
I would like to print it in crystal report with 3 columns
So I would like to have :

Element1 Element2 Element3
Element4 Element5 Element6
Element7 Element8 Element9
Element10 Element11 Element12

instead of
Element1
Element2
Element3
Element4
Element5
Element6
Element7
Element8
Element9
Element10
Element11
Element12

Does somebody have an idea how can I do that in CR
Thanks in advance

Go to format section->details->format with multiple columns->layout tab and check across and then down.

I tried it and finally it doesn't work.
Well I did what lbass told me to do. And it gives me no different result that I had before.
Do I have to do something else?
I tried to put the field twice in the detail section one beside the other but it gives me the same result twice. And BTW, how can I determine how many columns I want?
Does somebody have an idea why it doesn't work.
Thanks in advance

In format section->details, after checking "format with multiple columns," go to the layout tab and define the width of your field to about two inches, so that only three can fit across and set the distance between fields at something small or leave it at zero. Your field should be placed once at the left margin in the details section.
