Print Spooler Keeps Crashing. 1

i have a Windows XP computer with SP2 and all the updates. What happens is the print spooler keeps crashing for no apparent reason. I can check the event log and there is nothing there. How can i find out what is crashing it and how can i keep it from crashing. Is there a way to reinstall just the print spooler without having to reload windows.

Uninstall the printer drivers, reboot, reinstall the drivers and see if the print spooler goes south again. Sometimes, a corrupted driver will make the spooler go wacky.
