I have about a 100 records. On a form when i click a command button it previews the whole report. How can i make it so that when i call the command button it goes to the record i was on the form, it goes to that record on the report

Might be easier to base your report on a prompt query.
[Enter Record Number]

the form your using, is it a normal form or a continues form?? if it's a normal form i may have an answer... i'll take a look at one of my databases to get the code you'll need...

Life is change. To deny change is to deny life.

DoCmd.OpenReport "rptName", acViewNormal, , "[Primary_Key]=" & varRecId

you will need to declare a variable, name it varRecId and assign the primary key for the current record to that variable...

hope this helps...
