Hi,

(Crystal 8.5)

I have a report with a number of groups.

I do a page break after each group so that each group starts on a new page.

I need to print something in the page footer relevant to the current group. But only on the page that displays the last line of that group. So how can I suppress the field on earlier pages?

I have tried using the group footer to get the data I need at the end, but on occasion the detail lines in the group just take enough space on the page to print the group footer on the next page on it's own. That is not acceptable.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Cheers
Marc

Create a formula like the following to place in the page footer:

if {table.groupfield} <> next({table.groupfield}) then "End of Group Message"

Or suppress a text box containing your message with:

{table.groupfield} = next({table.groupfield})
