I would like to have a script that prints my report to a specific printer which is NOT the one I normally use. Can I set it up so that I can use a script with the Print Setup step but not have to choose the printer each time? I only want this report to print to this printer and so need to incorporate something into my script so it switches back to my default printer when I am done.

I had this problem when I was writing my print scripts for my job tickets. I was using one printer with legal paper and another with letter size.

I found a plug in called FM Tools. This plug in served a couple of functions for me because it allowed to pre define up to 5 printers each with their own setup. It also has a pop up calendar so you can point and click to enter a date for a field.

The plug in is available at:

The other nice thing about this plug in is that I can change printers in the same script and run a print command twice and have it go to different printers or the same printer with different setups.

(No I don't work for them)
