Print Servers

Currently, we have a server that is used for numerous things, and we'd like to migrate things so we have a server specifically for printer serving. Are there an recommendations as to whether a printer appliance (eg : Hp 4200) or a W2K based print server would be better. Advantages? Disadvantages? of both.

Any help would be appreciated.

Depends on how many printers you're talking about, how many users you're talking about, what kind of clients you have and how you currently have licensing setup on your servers (Client Based CAL or Connection Based CAL?). Another thing to ponder is how much security you need to have on your printers..
