Print Server + system load

Hi,
Does anyone else use a Hp printer appliance and find the system load at approx 95%, causing printers to loose connectivity. The % seems to increase throughout the day,even though < 10 jobs being processed and only 1% of disk usage. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
