I have setup a print server on a Win2K server . It is a stand-alone server doing nothing else.

I have shared about 10 printers on the print server. When users want to connect to the print server, they browse to the site and connect to it via IE.

Now all this works well, but sometime, all the printers simply disappear. I mean, when I go to, settings, printers, there are no printers listed!!. Of course, then I reboot and everything comes right back.

The event logs show the following.

error: the printer could not be installed. event id 1106

warning: printer was created. Now again, I am not sure about this. It creates another copy of the printers I already setup/shared with the same name except with a _ before the name. So, if I setup printer1, it will create a _printer1 which I can print to as well. event id 2

information: the printer was set (for all the printers) event id 9

What is happening here. The network connection is good.
Please advice.
Thanks.
