Print Server Access Trouble

Hi guys,

I got a USB PS121 print server attached to my network, i have 4 vlans and the print server is attached to vlan 4 with ip address 192.168.4.5, i can ping it from the other vlans but when i tried to find the printer (hp officejet k60) attached to the print server i got an error, windows can't find the printer, do i have to create an access list to permit traffic from vlan 1,2 and 3 to access the print server?, i'm asking this because i went to the print server web side and to setup it up i have to close the windows firewall and other software firewalls i got running and i don't have any firewall software running in any pc.

Any help will be appreciate.

BW, I'm using this path to add the printer in windows XP:

\\printserver_name\printer_name

well I would verify that you don't have the windows firewall turned on, on either machine. If you can ping the machine and browse to the machine i.e. \\printserver_name\c$ then your good as far as your network path. What is the OS of the printserver?
