Print Selection

Is it possible in OSX to print just the selected highlighted pieces from email/ internet...etc? Ive gone through the drop down menus in the print dialog box. I see "print odd numbers, print even numbers or print first". This is not specific to the printer, its an HP640 but all printers give the same selection options.
Any advise would be useful

Don't think so Den...would be a handy feature if your out there Apple....'print selection' button please!
