print selected areas 1

In Photnoshop 7 I have outlined a selected area to be printed with the Retangular Marquee tool. I go to file > Print Preview > "print selected areas", but the program will not allow the box to be checked> What am I doing wrong? I want to print only a selected part of a picture. Tahnk you for you advise.

Did you use the Rectangular Marquee for the selection? Because I believe that is the only selection tool that the Print Selected Area option will work with.

Your selection is probably feathered. Make sure that the feather setting is set to '0' on your selection.

Moe: It could have been a real ugly situation, but luckily I managed to shoot him in the spine.
