Hi all,

In Win98 there was a function to create images from screen snapshot with the command "print screen".

What is the eqvivalent command in WinXP?

Use the Print Screen key. Hold down the Alt key when pressing if you want to capture only the current window.
Next open Paint and choose Edit > Paste .....

Pressing the Print Screen key places a copy of the entire screen onto the clipboard for pasting into programs such as Wordpad, Alt+PrintScreen combo places a copy of the active window onto the clipboard. I don't know of a command-line equivalent.

You can use a couple different ways to print screen

they are

ctrl + prntscrn

alt +prntscrn

one of them will paste the active window into paint

the other will paste the entire screen into paint

You can also paste the images into MS Word or any program that supports pasting graphicks, I usually use MS Photo Editor Help us to help you, please post back and tell us if this helped.
All things are possible except skiing through a revolving door.
