Hi,

I am having problems with the print queues on a windows 2000 Server, whereby the documents don't get removed from the queue once they have been printed. This is a real pain, everytime the server gets restarted all of the print jobs reprint (talk about a waste of paper!). Has anyone had a similar problem? If so is there a solution to this issue? Is it a printer driver type issue or is it a Windows 2000 Server issue. I can't seem to find anything on the Microsoft Site or the HP site.

Cheers in advance,

JB

You could try reinstalling Win2K SP2, that might help, it has solved my network printing issues before...

Rather, uninstall SP2, and then reinstall. It may help, got to be worth a try, eh? =) Ahdkaw

Where the sensible gather... or so they say.

If you go to the printer props page you might have an advanced tab. In there is "keep printed docs" if that is ticked it will hold onto the docs.
