Print Queue not deleting files when finished

Files are not deleted from Unix Print Queue when finished. Printqueue hangs and no other reports are allowed to print until system is rebooted.
Lpshut and lpsched does not remedy the problem. AT WIT'S END. HELP!!!

I use ...... echo 'Hola' |lp -d hp3015 -onobanner (hp3015 is defined in /etc/printcap)
