1.) I create a landscape - 1 page brochure - 11 x 8.5 Trifold
2.) Create a bleed area of approx 1/8 inch around the entire brochure (so my printer won't make that face at me)
3.) I then place a rectangle color box in the area that fills the bleed section in the right 1/3rd panel (That is to be my cover when folded)
4.) Next, include logo
5.) Run Test Print - appears bigger than what I see on my screen
6.) Next, -forced to move logo and box about 1/2 inch in from right edge of page so print-out will produce what is needed.

Question: Why didn't my document print-out the way I saw it on my screen? Why did I have to modify my elements to get the desired printout?

...does your printer support borderless printing?

...you will likely need to print to a larger sheet for near to 100% size...

...sounds to me you are viewing the page at a magnification other than 100% perhaps? therefor the logo would appear bigger on the printed sheet...

...also verify that you are printing 100% scaling in the print setup and that you have the correct orientation...
